This Week in Star Citizen
April 20th, 2020

Happy Monday, everyone!

We’re putting the finishing touches on Alpha 3.9 and working out the last of the major issues keeping us from opening up PTU Wave 1. Keep an eye out for more news very soon. We can’t wait to see what you think of all the new content coming to the ‘verse.

EDIT: We’re currently testing a build which we aim to go to Evocati with tonight. If all goes well overnight, we’ll open up Wave 1 PTU tomorrow. Of course, things can change (as you’ve surely seen), but we’ll do our best to keep you in the loop.

Now, let’s see what’s going on this week:

On Tuesday, the Narrative Team takes gives you a peek into the investigation surrounding Tevarin voter suppression in the brand new Lore Post Secondary Vote.

Wednesday brings our April AMA on Quantum, the new system first previewed at CitizenCon 2949, hosted by Systems Designer Jake Muehle. We’ll be kicking off the AMA at 11AM Pacific, with the Spectrum thread opening 15 minutes early for question collection.

ISC is back this Thursday with a brand new episode featuring the latest Sprint Report and more!

On Friday you’ll see a Roadmap update and Roundup, an update to the Subscriber Vault, and the RSI Newsletter delivered to your inbox. Subscribers can look forward to the release of the April issue of Jump Point Magazine. We’ll also see an absolutely wild new episode of Calling All Devs, focused on the fauna of the ‘verse.

Until next time, we’ll see ya in the ‘verse!

Weekly Wisdom: Keep the Peace & Collect a Paycheck

With 3.9 right on the horizon, we figured there’s no time like the present to remind you that you can get paid for hunting down the ‘verse’s most notorious criminals.

Navigate to the Contracts Manager in your mobiGlas, and check out the “Bounty Hunter” section of the General tab to see if there’s anyone in need of your particular set of skills. If it’s your first venture into the wonderful world of bounty hunting, look for missions offered by “Northrock Service Group” such as the “Pro Tem Bounty Contract” to unlock the ability to go after the most dangerous targets in the system, including other players!

With Alpha 3.9 comes the first version of Prisons, and any convict that manages to weasel their way past the guards and steal their freedom will have a mighty fine bounty on their head – perfect for those looking to make a hefty lawful paycheck.

Community MVP: APRIL 20th, 2020
