Spine-chilling Monday, everyone!
Before we get into this week’s haunting details, we’d like to remind you that this is the last week of our Horror Beyond the Stars Halloween event.
Unlock your Hill Horror Helmet by traveling to Jumptown, or pick up a creepy-cute Fieldsbury Dark Bear Helmet if you are looking for the perfect Day of the Vara party costume. Plus, if you want to arrive in style or strike fear into your foe’s heart, consider the new Ghoulish Green Paints as Drake gets all together ooky for Day of the Vara.
In the meantime, our development team has proven to be true Ghostbusters, or should we say Bugbusters? Thanks to your numerous Issue Council reports, we are well on our way to releasing Alpha 3.15 to the live servers (we just went wave 2 today!).
Now, let’s see what’s going on this week:
Starting today, on Monday, we’re looking for your most burning questions for our Server Meshing and Persistent Streaming Q&A. So if you do have questions about these key core initiatives you learned about at CitizenCon, now’s your chance to ask!
On Tuesday, the Narrative team dusts off its library of horrors and treats us a Galactapedia update.
On Wednesday we’ll not only crown the Cave Runners who could escape Neville Lott, but it’s also the last day to win your own Ghoulish Green Drake ship in our annual Pumpkin Carving Contest.
The 27th is also Day of the Vara in the ‘verse. The black and green-themed holiday encourages celebrants to dress up in costumes and swap scary stories. What a perfect opportunity to party with your friends in the ‘Verse.
This Friday, Principal Environment Artist Josh Van Zuylen returns for a special live, extended look at the earliest work bringing the upcoming Outlaw Space Stations of Pyro to 3D in-engine life. He had an hour’s worth of tremendous content, and we cut him down to five minutes for CitizenCon, so come see everything you missed LIVE with peanut gallery comments from Jared this Friday at 8am Pacific, 3pm UTC on twitch.tv/starcitizen.
You’ll also catch our weekly RSI Newsletter delivered to your inbox, and Subscribers can look forward to an update to the Subscriber Vault and the October issue of Jump Point.
Have a great spooky week, and don’t get lost among the stars!
