Happy Monday, everyone!
With Invictus Launch Week now over, we’d like to thank everyone who participated in our Recruitment Poster and Video contests. We appreciate everyone’s efforts and saw many amazing entries. If the famous 999th Squadron ever needs reinforcements, we’re sure they will find the right candidates amongst you.
In last week’s Spectrum Ask Me Anything (AMA), we welcomed four guests from the dev team working on the upcoming Theaters of War (working title) game mode. The AMA is finished but we brought all the answers together in a recap, so you can read up on what changes have been made since our last playtest, how ToW helps to balance the PU, and more. Keep an eye out for upcoming threads in Spectrum for your chance to ask us anything!
And last but not least, join us in looking forward to Friday, when we celebrate First Contact Day (the day when Humanity made its first contact with the Banu) and start the festivities for Alien Week!
Now, let’s see what’s going on this week:
After announcing the secondary vote winners a couple of weeks ago, this Tuesday, the Narrative Team will be publishing a focus piece on the first of the final Imperator candidates, Illyana Sharrad.
Wednesday, we’ll post May’s SQ42 Monthly Report as a Comm-Link. The report highlights what the developers have been up to throughout the month. Our Subscribers will also receive a newsletter and we’ll publish the Subscriber Update Comm-Link.
On Thursday, we welcome the latest episode of Inside Star Citizen, our weekly look behind the scenes of Star Citizen development.
On Friday, you’ll see a Roadmap update and Roundup, an update to the Subscriber Vault, and the RSI Newsletter delivered to your inbox. We’ll also welcome a new episode of Star Citizen Live, which will broadcast on our Star Citizen Twitch channel at 10am PDT/5pm UTC. This week, our Narrative Team (Narrative Director David Haddock, Lead Writer William Weissbaum, Writer Adam Wieser, and Archivist & Associate Writer Cherie Heiberg) will discuss the alien races of Star Citizen.
