Happy Monday, everyone!
Last week, microTech Moons and Carrack Swoons graced our screens in the latest episode of Inside Star Citizen. Be sure to check it out to get a first look at Calliope, Clio, and Euterpe, as well as a walk through the highly-anticipated and much-gibbed Anvil Carrack.
The in-game law system is taking a step up in Alpha 3.9, with the introduction of the Prisons System. You had questions about these Prisons, and PU lead Designer Luke Pressley and Global Environment Lead Eddie Hilditch had answers. Read through our Prison System AMA to get the latest from the devs on the upcoming system.
Jumping ahead a bit (pun semi-intended), February’s Jump Point magazine will be delivered to Subscribers on March 6th.
Now, let’s see what’s going on this week:
On Tuesday, the Narrative Team will treat us to the second part in the ongoing serialized tale, “Instrument of Surrender”.
Keep an eye out on Wednesday for an infographic digging deep (pun fully intended) into the numbers of mining in the ‘verse. We’ll also get another look at the upcoming moons of microTech with a new edition of Traveler’s Guide to the Galaxy: Calliope, Clio, and Euterpe.
On Thursday, the latest episode of Inside Star Citizen will give us a look into how we decide which features are ready to go live and which will need a bit more time in the development oven, then we’ll take a look into the Actor Status System features coming in Alpha 3.9.
Friday will bring another Gamedev episode of Star Citizen Live, broadcasting live on our Star Citizen Twitch channel at 8am Pacific / 4pm UTC. We’ll be joined by Senior Environment Artist Patrick Gladys who’ll be showcasing the latest Planet Tech v4 features. Last but definitely not least, we’ll see updates to the Roadmaps and the Subscriber Vault, with the weekly newsletter delivered straight to your inbox.
Heading to Boston for PAX East this weekend? Us too! We’ll be there all weekend long, and we might even have some goodies for you. On Saturday, we’re hosting a scavenger hunt where you can track us down and earn exclusive goodies courtesy of the microTech corporation. Then, grab your tickets and pop over to the community-organized PAX East Bar Citizen to raise a glass and engage in interesting conversation with other Star Citizen fans.
See you in the ‘verse!
