This Week in Star Citizen
September 16th, 2019

Happy Monday!

Throw your hat into the ring and show some love for your favorite in-game vessel in the Ship Showdown. Nominate your favorite flyable/driveable vehicle by submitting an original creation by Wednesday, September 25th: paint a picture, mold a sculpture, compose a musical, produce a trailer, anything you can think of. After submissions close, the top 16 craft will be pitted head-to-head in bracket-style voting to find out which one truly is the best in the ‘verse. A spot in the final four of this celebratory smack-down will not only win your ship its time in the proverbial limelight but may also open the airlock for some fun surprises coming later this year.

During last week’s Inside Star Citizen, the team took you on a deep dive into some of the darkest places in the ‘verse… literally. It was an absolutely cavernous (ok I’ll stop) topic: Caves! If you missed it, be sure to check out the video here.

Last Friday we published the second installment in our new weekly dispatch: Roadmap Roundup. The Roundup will continue to provide you with weekly context, accompanying each roadmap update. The goal being to offer an even more transparent look at our development process, straight from the proverbial horse’s mouth.

Now, let’s see what’s going on this week:

On Tuesday, the Lore Team will treat us to another episode of Something Every Tuesday, where Essen Landari sits down with the director of chilling sci-fi/horror vid nasty, Parasite V.

Wednesday, Subscriber’s can expect their monthly newsletter.

After last week, you’re undoubtedly ready to go underground… but what do you do once you’re there? Tune in to a new episode of Inside Star Citizen on Thursday to find out.

Friday will bring us updates to the Roadmaps and the Subscriber Vault. The RSI Newsletter will also be delivered right to your inbox, and we welcome a new episode of Star Citizen Live, which broadcasts on our Star Citizen Channel at 10am PDT / 5pm UTC. This week, we’ll have Narrative Director Dave Haddock and Lead Writer Will Weissbaum on to answer your question about ALl Things Lore in the Star Citizen universe.

See you in the ‘verse!
