This Week in Star Citizen
May 4th, 2020

May the 4th be with you, everyone!

Alpha 3.9 Locked up & Loaded is LIVE! From the all-new Klescher Rehabilitation Facility on Aberdeen to the vastly improved Friends List that makes teaming up a breeze, there are countless game-changing features to discover. To celebrate the launch of the latest patch, we’re giving every new player brought in by referral (and the one who referred them) a Greycat buggy. It’s perfect for exploring microTech’s dangerous-yet-beautiful moons, Clio, Caliope, and Euterpe.

Last Friday, we announced that due to the impact of COVID-19, we have decided to postpone CitizenCon until 2021. Nevertheless, we’re still planning to celebrate Star Citizen’s birthday on October 10th. Read all about it on Spectrum.

Also last week, we published a look ahead to what’s heading to Star Citizen in the near future. From Fleet Week to Theaters of War, we’re keeping the momentum going! Find out what’s coming up in the next few weeks.

Now, let’s see what’s going on this week:

On Tuesday, the Narrative Team will publish a Galactic Guide to Oretani, one of the many systems discovered during the rapid expansion of the 25th century.

Wednesday will bring us both PU and Squadron 42 Monthly Reports!

Thursday welcomes a new episode of Inside Star Citizen, our weekly look behind the scenes of Star Citizen development.

On Friday, you’ll see a Roadmap update and Roundup, an update to the Subscriber Vault, and the RSI Newsletter delivered to your inbox. We’ll also welcome a new episode of Star Citizen Live, which will broadcast on our Star Citizen Twitch channel at 10am Pacific/5pm UTC. This time, we’ll sit down with Pedro Camacho and talk about his work, including a look at the process creating the theme for New Babbage.

Han shot first,

Weekly Wisdom: It’s not you it’s me

Star Citizen won’t launch and you aren’t sure if it’s your PC’s fault or if the servers are down for maintenance?

Head over to our brand new overview page that shows the status of the Platform, Persistent Universe, and Electronic Access.
It also tells you about recent incidents, if they have been solved or are still ongoing, and all possible workarounds.

Community MVP: MAY 4th, 2020

We're constantly amazed by the contributions made by the Star Citizen community. Whether it's fan art, a cinematic, YouTube guide, or even a 3D print of your favorite ship, we love it all! Every week, we select one piece of content submitted to the Community Hub and highlight it here. The highlighted content creator will be awarded an MVP badge on Spectrum and be immortalized in our MVP section of the Hub.

Don’t forget to submit your content to our Community Hub for a chance at seeing it here!

New Babbage City Map by Citko

You've just arrived at New Babbage and suddenly realize all that space trucking has made you hungry. Why not take a look at the new burger joint everyone is talking about? What's the name again? Whammers! If only you had a map to find this place among all these shiny shops and eateries. Fear not! _Citko_ has you covered.
