[Editor’s Note] Hi all, Zyloh here. I’d like to jump in and introduce you to the latest and greatest addition to the Community Team, Molly! I could not be happier to have her joining us on this adventure, and I’m confident you’ll soon come to agree.
Our community team’s recent ramp-up means we’re now better equipped to provide you with even more of the communication and transparency you have come to expect. The recent Staggered Development FAQ and Roadmap Roundup are just a couple examples of the direction we’d like to continue heading. Stay tuned as we’ve got some pretty exciting things in the pipe, including new content and a couple of fun programs that we can’t wait to roll out.
Take it away Molly!

Happy Monday, everyone!
Last week, we dug a little deeper with a new spelunktastic episode of Inside Star Citizen, all about everything you can do in the newly revealed cave systems. If you haven’t already, check out the full episode here.
The Ship Showdown is underway! We’ve seen some absolutely incredible submissions so far, demonstrating yet again that the Star Citizen community’s creativity knows no bounds! You only have a few days left to create and submit an epic piece of something featuring your favorite flyable before we move on to head-to-head voting. This month-long birthday celebration is truly of galactic proportions. Get all the details here.
Now, let’s see what’s going on this week:
The lore team has a treat for us on Tuesday, the first part of a new serialized fiction series: Second Run.
This Wednesday we’ll kick off voting for the Ship Showdown. The top 16 ships will go head-to-head in a bracket-style competition. Keep in mind that a spot in the final four of this celebratory smack-down will open the airlock for some fun surprises for those ships later this year!
Thursday’s episode of Inside Star Citizen will highlight a few more of the new features and changes coming in Alpha 3.7.
Friday will bring updates to the Roadmaps and the Subscriber Vault. The RSI Newsletter will also be delivered right to your inbox, and we welcome a new episode of Star Citizen Live, which broadcasts on our Star Citizen Twitch channel at 8am PDT / 3pm UTC. This week, we’ll have Technical Director Sean Tracy and Lead FPS Systems Designer Richard Tyrer on to answer your questions about the newly revealed Star Marine map, The Good Doctor.
See ya in the ‘verse.

Associate Community Manager
PS: Hello there! I know my name is probably unfamiliar to you all, so I wanted to make sure to introduce myself properly. I’m the newest addition to the community team, bringing the community manager headcount to 4 total worldwide (Zyloh & me in the US and Ulf & Christian in Germany). I’m so excited to join the incredible team here at CIG. As you guys already know, Star Citizen is a once-in-a-lifetime game and it’s my absolute pleasure to be a small part of the team bringing it to life.
Couple quick things about myself: I spent the last few years working on Paladins & SMITE at Hi-Rez Studios, my favorite game of all time is Mass Effect 3, and my favorite flyable is the 325a (shoutout to Peter_Caulfield’s incredible custom job on his “Ground Vehicle”). Feel free to reach out with a good old Texas howdy on Spectrum @mollybot-CIG or Twitter @mollybot, I’m so excited to get to know you all.
Lastly, Zyloh & I are heading to TwitchCon this weekend, and we’d love to say hi! We’ll be going to the Bar Citizen on Sunday and may even bring some swag & goodies along with us.
